When the allies went to war in Iraq they protected the oil industry but did not protect the many art treasures in Iraq. These watercolour works on paper were made in response to the failure to value the traditions of Islam and contain media images of the war from the many photographers stationed in Iraq. My images have been exhibited at Cross Art Projects Sydney, the Ivan Dougherty Gallery College of Fine Arts University of New South Wales, the gallery of the University of Newcastle, Manning River Gallery, Tamworth Regional Gallery and the Marianne Newman Gallery Sydney. This work has been collected by the Art Gallery of Tasmania and the Gallery of the Australian War Museum.
