Interrupted Lives was an installation in the exhibition Sarajevo which was curated by Vivienne Dadour in response to the destruction in Sarajevo. The exhibition opened 1997-98 at the Ivan Dougherty Gallery and was shown at the Long Gallery, University of Wollongong and Bathurst Regional Gallery. The sculpture Dark Effect of the Spirit was concerned with the divisive war in the Balkans and was exhibited in 1999 and the portrait of a rapist and murderer is from the same conflict.
